Takelings House Party Description
A frantic and whimsical party game for VR. Takelings have invaded this quiet suburban home and it's up to Hal to exterminate these pests using whatever means necessary!
Progress through the house where each room is a different game. Take turns in VR as Hal facing off against the Takelings controlled by up to 8 couch players using their smartphones and/or gamepads.
History
Kevin Weir needed more VR party games to play with his friends and in 2017 he started developing Takelings House Party. The game premiered as an Indie Feature at Virtual Reality LA in 2018 . It was also shown at Caltopia 2018, the AMD Gaming Garage of the Canadian National Expo in 2018, and the ViveSummit 2019. The game was more recently an Official Selection for Indie Meg Booth at PAX East Showcase 2020. Our team was excited to find that the others loved the game just as much as we do. The game will be released in July 2019 on Steam, Viveport, and Oculus Store. We hope to be coming to other platforms soon.
